Bayer BioScience Confirms to Support WSRC VIII as a Gold Sponsor

Philippe Medeau, China Manager of BioScience, Bayer, and Lin Lin, Marketing Assistant of BioScience, Bayer, visited WSRC VIII Organizing Committee on March 13th, 2009. Dr. Shuming Wang, Deputy Secretary-General of WSRC VIII Organizing Committee and Deputy Director of Institute of Crop Sciences, CAAS, met the delegation and discussed the relevant matters for Bayer to attend WSRC VIII with the guests.

Dr. Wang welcomed Bayer Bioscience to attend WSRC VIII. He said, it will be a good opportunity for Bayer to present its research achievements and strengthen the contact with the global soybean researchers.

Mr. Medeau expressed Bayer BioScience's firm support to WSRC VIII preparation. He said, Bayer BioScience would provide WSRC VIII with gold sponsorship.

Bayer BioScience is based in Lyons, France, with 2100 employees. At present, they have established four R&D centers, which located in Ghent, Haarlem, Potsdam and Lyons, respectively. Their works focus on promoting the growth in crop areas and enhancing crop yield and quality properties through plant biotechnology and modern breeding methods.
